Against Logic

(Reposted 11-12-2011, not edited at all)

If you have bad vision, do you cut out the eyes of someone with great vision and consume them?

If someone is really smart, do you cut out their brain and make a meal of it?

Of course not, these are ludicrous examples of things that actually happened in ages past. Or are they?

If you have aging skin, would you use a skin care product made with fetal skin cells to improve your appearance?

January 2010's issue of World magazine reports that Neocutis anti-aging cream does just that (p.58).

We humans really are a bunch of barbarians.

My husband says, it technological barbarianism-sick. This morning we read about a woman who was upset that an ultrasound made a grave mistake, it did not show that her baby never developed eyes. If she would have known....we both know what she would have done. Oh Lord, forgive them, they know not what they do.

How horrifying! Makes me shudder to think that I could accidently use a product with something like that in it.

Joyful Chaos,
I know what you mean! How many products do we use daily that are made up of aborted babies? For a very long time, I did not know that there are aborted baby cell parts in some vaccines as well.

Also, thanks for your comment on Grace in Bloom. We, too, think the Baby is pretty special, but I might be biased ; )
