Life Goes On

On School - Back to full-time hours.

On the rest of life - Grab a cup of coffee, this could take a while.

We have been through more in this past year than I could have ever conveyed on the blog. There are some things that I just did not feel right about sharing publicly... and I still don't want to share them now.

What I will share:
- Paul recently resigned from his pastoral responsiblities
- we are leaving with peace
- and since we have been living in a parsonage, we are now looking for a new home
- Paul is back to working at U-Haul as many as 32 hours a week AND he is still doing the pre-load at UPS. So, he is working 12 hours a day/ 5 days a week (at least), and some Saturdays he will be driving for UPS delivering the "next day air" packages
- to try to keep some sanity I am doing school full-time... so not many boxes have actually been packed

Life is chaos, but in the midst of chaos there CAN be peace! In the midst of trauma there CAN be joy!

Thank God, we are saved by grace!

Thank God, we have food in the cupboards for the week!

Thank God, for the Panera (day-old) bread bag that we have been getting every week!

Thank God that we are healthy!

Thank God that we seem to be safe from harm!

Thank God for the energy to do school!

Thank God for our new-to-us van than gets us where we need to go!

Thank God, that "when one door closes another one opens."

Thank God, that though we feel alone, we are by no means friendless.

Thank God that we are pressed but not crushed, persecuted not abandoned, struck down not destroyed.

Thank God!

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18 ESV

We will get through this by his grace.
